EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP PROFILE
Tammy J. Cooper
Senior Executive Vice President
Communication and Ministerial Services
Leadership grounded in faith. Strength expressed through gentleness. A heart devoted to Christ and committed to people.
Some people lead through position. Others lead through influence. Tammy leads through the rare ability to make people feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued.
Her Story
A Gentle Spirit. A Quiet Strength.
As Senior Executive Vice President for Communication and Ministerial Services, Tammy J. Cooper is the second-ranking executive of The Shepherd Network™ LLC. Working directly under Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer Craig Cooper, she provides executive leadership for three of the organization's most people-centered divisions.
Her title describes the authority entrusted to her, but it does not fully reveal the heart she brings to that authority.
Tammy possesses a gentle spirit and a quiet strength. Her softness is not weakness, hesitation, or an inability to stand firmly when circumstances demand it. It is strength governed by compassion. It is conviction expressed with grace. It is the ability to remain tender without becoming fragile, to remain kind without surrendering truth, and to exercise authority without losing sight of the person standing before her.
She does not need to be the loudest voice in a room to make a lasting difference. Her influence is often felt through a thoughtful word, a calm presence, a patient response, or the reassurance that someone is not facing a difficult moment alone.
Tammy is a woman of deep faith, strong character, and extraordinary compassion. She possesses what those closest to her simply call a heart of gold—tender enough to recognize when someone is hurting, strong enough to stand beside them, and generous enough to offer encouragement without expecting recognition in return.
She does not merely listen to what people say. She has an uncommon ability to sense what they may be carrying beneath their words. She meets people where they are, enters the moment with them, and responds with sincerity, patience, and grace.
That ability gives Tammy what can best be described as a shepherd's heart.

Her Faith
Centered on Jesus Christ—Crucified, Risen, and Forever Lord
At the center of Tammy's life is her faith in Jesus Christ and her gratitude for the immeasurable love God revealed through His Son.
She believes Jesus willingly went to the Cross, bore the penalty of sin, and gave His life so that we might be forgiven, reconciled to God, and saved. She believes the Cross was not the end of the story. Jesus Christ rose from the grave in victory, conquering sin and death and opening the way to eternal life for all who place their faith in Him.
For Tammy, this is more than a statement of doctrine. It is the truth upon which she has built her life.
She believes salvation cannot be earned through status, accomplishment, good intentions, or human effort. It is the gracious gift of God, made possible through the sacrificial death and victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Cross reminds her that love is not merely something spoken—it is something demonstrated. The empty tomb reminds her that darkness does not have the final word, death is not the end, and hope in Christ is never misplaced.
Tammy's love for Christ is reflected in the way she seeks to treat others. Her kindness, patience, compassion, and willingness to serve flow from gratitude for the mercy and grace she has received.
Her faith is not reserved for Sunday mornings, formal prayers, or public expressions. It is woven into the ordinary moments of her life: how she listens, how she responds, how she forgives, how she carries responsibility, and how she cares for people when no one else is watching.
Truth held with tenderness. Grace offered without pretense. A life that seeks to point others toward Christ.
Softness With Strength
Gentleness Is Not the Absence of Strength
Tammy can be tender-hearted without being persuaded away from what is right. She can respond gently while remaining firm in her convictions. Her compassion does not prevent her from making difficult decisions; it helps ensure those decisions are made thoughtfully, prayerfully, and with an awareness of how they may affect others.
She understands that every person carries a story that may not be visible. Someone's impatience may conceal fear. Their silence may conceal sorrow. Their confusion may reflect a burden no one else knows they are carrying.
Tammy's instinct is not to rush to judgment. She pauses, listens, observes, and tries to understand.
This does not mean she ignores wrongdoing or avoids accountability. She believes correction can be truthful without being cruel, leadership can be decisive without becoming dismissive, and authority can be exercised without diminishing another person's dignity.
For Tammy, gentleness is strength surrendered to God and placed under the direction of wisdom, love, and self-control.

Faith, Family, and Home
The Heart Behind the Leadership
The most meaningful parts of Tammy's story cannot be measured by a title, organizational chart, or professional accomplishment.
At the center of her earthly life are her faith and her family. She is a devoted wife, a loving family member, and a proud fur-baby mother to Ollie Bear and Max, each of whom holds a special place in her heart.
Home is where many of Tammy's finest qualities are seen most clearly. It is where her patience, tenderness, loyalty, humor, protectiveness, and unconditional love become part of everyday life.
Those who know Tammy understand that her compassion is not a carefully constructed public image or professional technique. It is part of who she is. She celebrates with those who are joyful, grieves with those who are hurting, and remains present when circumstances become difficult.
Her legacy is not built merely on accomplishments, recognition, or authority. It is built through faithfulness, kindness, Christian character, and lives made stronger because she cared.
