Tammy J. Cooper is the Senior Executive Vice President for Communication and Ministerial Services at The Shepherd Network™ LLC, the second-ranking executive working directly under Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer Craig Cooper. She provides executive leadership for three of the organization’s most people-centered divisions.
Her Story — A Gentle Spirit. A Quiet Strength.
Tammy possesses a gentle spirit and a quiet strength. Her softness is not weakness; it is strength governed by compassion, conviction expressed with grace, and the ability to remain tender without becoming fragile. She has what those closest to her call a shepherd’s heart — tender enough to recognize when someone is hurting, strong enough to stand beside them, and generous enough to offer encouragement without expecting recognition.
Her Faith — Centered on Jesus Christ
At the center of Tammy’s life is her faith in Jesus Christ. She believes Jesus willingly went to the Cross, bore the penalty of sin, and gave His life so that we might be forgiven, reconciled to God, and saved. She believes Jesus Christ rose from the grave in victory, conquering sin and death and opening the way to eternal life for all who place their faith in Him. Her faith is woven into the ordinary moments of her life: how she listens, how she responds, how she forgives, how she carries responsibility, and how she cares for people.
Softness With Strength
Tammy can be tender-hearted without being persuaded away from what is right. She responds gently while remaining firm in her convictions. She believes correction can be truthful without being cruel, leadership can be decisive without becoming dismissive, and authority can be exercised without diminishing another person’s dignity. For Tammy, gentleness is strength surrendered to God and placed under the direction of wisdom, love, and self-control.
Executive Leadership
Tammy unites communication, community engagement, ministerial support, and support services around one shared purpose: serving people faithfully and well in a manner that honors Jesus Christ. The divisions under her oversight include the Division of Communication and Community Engagement, the Division of Ministerial Support, and the Division of Support Services. The established leadership order is: (1) President and Chief Executive Officer — Craig Cooper; (2) Senior Executive Vice President — Tammy J. Cooper; (3) Division Directors; (4) Managers; (5) Coordinators and Team Members. Final organization-wide authority remains with the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Professional Service
Tammy brings extensive professional experience in public service. As a Program Coordinator with the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s Food Safety Branch, she has developed a reputation for dependability, professionalism, careful attention to detail, and commitment to those she serves.
Faith, Family, and Home
At the center of Tammy’s earthly life are her faith and her family. She is a devoted wife, a loving family member, and a proud fur-baby mother to Ollie Bear and Max. Her legacy is built through faithfulness, kindness, Christian character, and lives made stronger because she cared. Tammy J. Craig Cooper is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of The Shepherd Network™ LLC — a faith-based, Christian, ministry-oriented media, publishing, technology, educational, community, ecommerce, and digital-platform enterprise. David Craig Cooper is a man called by God, sustained by faith, and anchored in the truth of Scripture.
The Measure of the Man — A Force to Be Reckoned With
To call Craig a force to be reckoned with is not to describe aggression, arrogance, or a desire for control. It is to recognize the strength of a man who refuses to surrender what God has placed upon his heart — a strength that is bold because it is surrendered to Christ, steadfast because it is rooted in His Word, and stern because truth demands it. His strength is disciplined by faith, sharpened by experience, and directed toward building something capable of encouraging believers, equipping the saints, and outliving him for the glory of God. He does not build for his own name; he builds for the Kingdom.
The Foundation of His Faith — Alive With the Hope of the Risen Savior
Craig’s faith is living, expectant, deeply personal, and anchored in Jesus Christ. He believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He believes Christ willingly went to Calvary, bore the penalty of sin, and gave Himself in love so that we could be forgiven, redeemed, reconciled to God, and saved. Craig believes the Cross was not the end of the story — the tomb could not hold Jesus. Christ rose in victory over sin and death, and because He lives, all who place their faith in Him may receive salvation and the promise of eternal life. Craig’s spiritual life carries the warmth, expectancy, freedom, and holy boldness associated with his Pentecostal background without promoting or being confined by a denominational label.
Vision, Work, and Calling
The Shepherd Network™ represents Craig’s desire to bring faith, storytelling, ministry resources, technology, publishing, and compassionate service together beneath one mission. His professional background includes public service with Kentucky state government, which strengthened his appreciation for accountability, documentation, proper procedures, and the real-world consequences of leadership decisions. Following his retirement from Kentucky state government, Craig devoted increasing attention to developing the vision that became The Shepherd Network™ LLC. Craig writes and develops original faith-based works under several author identities, including Forest Clay (The Testament Mysteries Universe) and Clara Grace Winslow (Harvest House Stories).
Overall Executive Authority
Craig holds final organization-wide executive authority for The Shepherd Network™ LLC. He establishes the mission, protects the organization’s Christian identity, sets strategic direction, and remains ultimately responsible for the organization as a whole. Four divisions under Craig’s direct oversight include the Division of Administration and Organizational Development, the Division of Publishing and Creative Development, the Division of Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects, and the Division of Systems and Innovations. Craig works directly with Tammy J. Cooper, Senior Executive Vice President for Communication and Ministerial Services, who provides direct executive oversight for the Division of Communication and Community Engagement, the Division of Ministerial Support, and the Division of Support Services. Final organization-wide authority remains with the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer.
Husband, Father, and Grandfather
Before Craig is a founder, executive, publisher, author, or visionary, he is a husband, father, grandfather, and family man whose deepest earthly commitments are rooted at home. Craig is a loving and devoted husband to Tammy J. Cooper. He is the proud father of his adult children Joshua (son) and Kayla (daughter), and welcomes Kayla’s husband Tucker. His grandchildren, Fisher and Finley, bring exceptional joy, hope, purpose, and a deep sense of legacy to his life. He is also a loving fur-baby father to Ollie and Max.
